How the beta works
Like a lesson, it goes in stages.

Apply
Two minutes. Tell us who you are, where your lessons happen and which iPhone you have.
You are here - Stage 2
Get picked
We invite people in stages, starting with instructors, then learners in the areas they cover. Places are limited.
- Stage 3
Install with TestFlight
We email you an invite. Download TestFlight, Apple's free app for trying new apps early, tap the link and you're in.
- Stage 4
Drive and tell us
Book or teach real lessons, then tell us what to fix. We read every message.
Who can apply?
Learner drivers aged 17 or over, and driving instructors with an ADI registration or a trainee licence, whose lessons happen in Leicester: LE1 to LE5, Wigston (LE18), and Enderby and Narborough (LE19). Just outside the city, in LE6 to LE9? You can still apply and we'll check whether instructors cover your area.
Does it cost anything?
Joining the beta is free. Learners pay for lessons as normal, at the instructor's own price. Instructors can try every plan free (Starter, Pro, AI Plus and Driving School) and pay 0% commission for the whole beta.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone 11 or newer, or iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), updated to iOS 26. La Novia isn't on Android yet.
What is TestFlight?
TestFlight is Apple's free app for trying new apps before they reach the App Store. If you're picked, we email you a link: download TestFlight, tap the link, and La Novia installs like any other app.
When will I hear back?
We invite people in stages, so it can take a while. Applying doesn't guarantee a place. If you're picked, we'll email you your invite. If we can't fit you in yet, you stay on the list for the next stage.
How are instructors checked?
Before an instructor can take bookings, we check their identity and their ADI registration or trainee licence. Trainee instructors are always shown with a pink badge and the training school they teach through.
What happens to my details?
We only use them to run the beta: to choose testers and send invites. We never sell them, and we never ask for your licence or ID on this form. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Why only Leicester?
La Novia is being built in Leicester. Starting in one city means we can meet instructors in person, fix problems fast and get it right before going anywhere else.
Places are limited.
